Jen, it has to be hard for you to keep up with emails, so this post is for you!
I live in Montgomery, AL. I just moved here from Lompoc, CA (Lompoc is about 40 minutes north of Santa Barbara, CA).
My husband (John) wanted to move here to get back to his Southern roots! He's originally from Mississippi. I like it here so far. There is A LOT of shopping, and I really like the house we are renting.
In my humble opinion, the house is freaking awesome. I've pretty much lived in Cali my whole life, and it seems like it takes at least $180,000/year to afford a house like this.
It's only about 3 years old, there's a pool, and it has about 2,100 sq. ft.
I know it's not much in comparison to the "really nice houses" here, but for a Cali girl, it's a mansion!
We got married in Las Vegas, NV on Oct. 21st. No, it wasn't an Elvis wedding! In fact, everything turned out perfect! I couldn't have asked for anything better. Our families flew to Las Vegas for the wedding and we had a great time! We planned the wedding while John was in Iraq, and when he returned it was such a great celebration! You know me Jen. I LOVE Las Vegas. In fact, if I recall correctly, Las Vegas is where you and Ben met for the first time after he had moved. Remember, you and I flew from San Jose, CA ( I think it was your birthday).

Thanks for all the pictures. Your house is gorgeous. When I saw your wedding pictures, I was like...who is that? You're a blond!! So I guess now you can answer the age old question. Do blondes really have more fun? HAHA Your pictures were fabulous. You mentioned your husband was in Iraq..He just went up like 5 stars in my book. I am all about the troops!!
